We are small hobby breeders of lovebirds, parrotlets, and poicephalus parrots.  Our birds are kept in our home and are treated individually with care.  Each pair has a spacious cage, lots of toys, natural manzanita perches, and are fed a healthy diet.  They even have their own names, and a lot of them know it!  We keep them in our specially-modeled basement aviary.  The air is constantly circulated and filtered, the humidity levels and temperature regulated, and we use nothing but True-Color Ott-Lites on a timer system to simulate natural daylight hours consistent with the seasons.

While we love all of our birds, lovebirds are our specialty.  They were our first birds and remain our first love!  Our lovebird pairs can produce more than twenty different color mutations across four different species.  Of the nine lovebird species, we currently raise four: peachfaced, masked, fischer, and blackcheek.  Hopefully, we'll be adding nyasa lovebirds in the near future.  Some of the peach faced mutations that we raise are violets, pieds, orange faces, and silvers (American Whites).

The parrotlets are kept in the South American room of our aviary.  Parrotlets are the smallest parrots in the world, and we sometimes call them South American Lovies, although their personalities can be very different from lovebirds - more like small Amazon parrots.  We've recently refocused our breeding efforts to focus on the Mexican parrotlet.  Check out our page dedicated to these great little birds to find out more information on them.

Poicephalus parrots are attractive to us because they have some of the qualities of the larger parrots, without the drawbacks.  They make relatively little noise, yet can learn to mimic and talk.  We have had great success with our babies talking, some even before they leave us to go to new homes!  They make good apartment parrots, and are ideal for people who want a bigger bird but don't want to be intimidated by the size of a macaw or cockatoo.  Of the poicephalus species, we raise red bellies and meyers.

As a new venture, we have acquired one pair of greencheek conures.  After raising the first clutch of greencheek babies, we've found that we enjoy them greatly.  We will continue providing greencheek conure babies on a limited basis.

Every one of our babies comes with a hatch certificate, and all of our baby birds are handfed.  As an unbending policy, we don't sell unweaned babies.  New owners are welcome to visit their babies while they're being handfed, however baby birds won't leave us until they are fully weaned for at least a week.

All birds sold by us are given a seventy-two hour health guarantee.  If, during this period, the bird is taken to a qualified avian veterinarian and is determined to be ill or in poor health, we will gladly take the bird back and refund the money in full.  Please keep in mind that although we do take many hours handfeeding, socializing, and training baby birds, parrots are individual birds and we cannot guarantee behavior or personality.  Please take as much time as necessary to research, ask questions, and spend time with a bird before deciding to purchase one.  We periodically and randomly test our birds for the major bird diseases.  At the time of purchase, we disclose all the information we know about the bird.

We are located in southern New Jersey.  We will ship birds, but we only use airlines and we only ship during acceptable weather conditions.  Our foremost concern is the safety of the birds, regardless of who owns them.  To avoid the cost and stress of shipping, we may meet new owners in the surrounding area.

In the interest of those who are looking to breed lovebirds, pedigrees can be provided upon request.
